Brands I've designed for
I'm John Lloyd Edios — currently a Senior Design Manager leading product and brand teams across consumer and developer-facing surfaces. Most days I'm coaching designers, untangling roadmaps, and shipping interfaces that hold up under real use. I started this practice in Davao, picked up rituals from agencies in Manila, and kept the same belief through all of it: good design is patient, accountable, and useful before it's beautiful.
Off the clock I teach, mentor, and write about the craft — because the work gets better when more people get to do it well.

I combine forward-thinking ideas with flawless execution, ensuring every campaign, design or strategy not only looks great but drives measurable outcomes.
I blend craft with technical thinking to ship experiences that captivate audiences and communicate the brand message clearly.
Beyond static screens — here's a piece I built entirely in Final Cut Pro and Motion, from concept through to final cut.
Jlo doesn't just run a design team — he builds one. He set up our entire system from the ground up, then trained the people who'd carry it forward. We shipped faster and the quality gap between sprints disappeared.
Every product decision we made over two years was better because Jlo was in the room. He understands business outcomes, not just deliverables. That distinction is rare at any level, let alone across multiple product lines.
Working with a design manager who understands engineering constraints is genuinely rare. Jlo reduced our back-and-forth by more than half, handed off specs that were implementation-ready, and still pushed us toward better UX at every turn.
I came in as a junior with no confidence and left that year with a design system contribution and a promotion. Jlo gives feedback that's direct but never discouraging. He's the reason I can lead projects independently now.
Software comes and goes; the questions don't. Here's what's on the desk this year — pinned for fidelity, swapped when something genuinely better turns up.
From DevFest to UX+, I make time for the developer and design community in Mindanao and beyond.
